"Lovely to come back here to Smugglers with all its new amenities. Warm inside if cold outside! But beautiful blue skies every day. Emjoyed a pre dinner glass up in the hut-lovely! Thanks for everything." Liz and David hughes May 2015.

"Smugglers Rest was wondeful again, always warm always inviting. Still the best self-catering holiday cottage in Sennen Cove, well done Becky! We like the evening sessions at Little Bo Cafe great Thai food this week." Willian Cook 4th November 2012

"Thank you for letting us stay in your wonderful home, it may be the BEST half term ho;iday EVER. Weve been to see many magical places...but the beach beat them all, and seeing my 3 London girls surfing with HUGE smiles will be a memory to stay with me always." Latham family Feb 2014

"Smugglers was as magical as ever and we had a lovely week - great weather for walking on the Coastal Path and bus trips to St Ives. You really have done such a lot of hard work on the cottage and made it absolutely beautiful, both inside and out - loved the summerhouse at the top of the garden, such a lovely place to sit and read with a cuppa!" Kate Mongredian July 2013

"This is the first time we have been to Sennen Cove although we have visited Cornwall for several years staying in cottages. This is the lovliest and best equipped we have ever used. The whole ambience is of a comfortable, peaceful, homely retreat. The special bonus is the constantly changing views of which one can never tire" Ken Garner 2013.

"A wonderful week, Day 1 - seals, Day 2 - Basking Sharks, Day 3&4- Dolphins! All in the bay" Suttons 2013.

"We have had a fantastic week and your holiday cottage is so warm and cosy.  Actually it was so warm we never got to use the woodburning stove!  I haven't got a pen to write in your visitors book unfortunately but just wanted to say how well equipped your cottage is, everything we needed from potato masher to kitchen towel was provided.  It definitely makes a different to our stay.  We also loved the fact you provided CDs (I am actually going to jot down a few names and buy them myself), books and DVDs.  I shall be recommending your holiday cottage for sure." Sian Eden 28th October 2011

"I know Liz signed the visitors book, but I wanted to add my thanks for allowing us the privilege of enjoying a wonderful week's holiday at Smugglers Rest. It was hard to believe this was the same place (albeit a little expanded) to the Smugglers of 1969-1974-ish where our first two children enjoyed their seaside experience.. Your attention to detail obviously mean you spend a lot of time there yourself...or at least I hope you do. Not only did we have the bonus of lovely weather for virtually the whole week, we got to see the lifeboat do a training launch, discovered that Andrew at The Old Boathouse had been writing a blog for years and now has a sample 12-months published, which is a great read. The Beach was up to its' usual high standard, and we also enjoyed eating at The Bay restaurant in Penzance and lunch at Gurnard's Head. We used our bus passes one day to do a round trip through St. Ives and Penzance, and lots of walking. The most memorable part though, was the view which from the enlarged terrace, remains just unforgettable - especially when disembowelling two fine crabs from the Boathouse! A fantastic holdiday, thank you again."  David Hughes 6th June 2012
